Paul and I started out in the pizza restaurant business. Well not entirely true… Paul is a culinary school graduate whose skills know no bounds.   

We entered the pizza scene as the owners of Baba Louie’s in Great Barrington, MA. After several years we opened Baba Louie’s in Hudson, NY followed by Baba Louie’s of Pittsfield, MA.

While in Pittsfield we opened Ugly’s Bakery. What made the Baba Louie’s amazing was the thin sourdough pizza crust.  Friends, people waited in line for hours to get a pie!

Now that we have sold the restaurants we still make the crust and breads that have been served there for over 25 years.   

Folks started asking us if they could buy the regular crust in addition to the gluten free crust. So now the answer is yes!  In Berkshire County you can grab a crust at Guido’s Fresh Marketplace.
